A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“The place is very nice. Quiet place, and the room is comfortable. The kloster has a great atmosphere. The thing that has to be improved is the breakfast. Only the first ones who arrive to breakfast room get more choices. I stayed 5 days, the first day I arrived when they opened at 7,30 and I saw all they had. The following days I arrived around 8,30 and fresh bread and many charcuterie was already missing. No replenishment of food when something runs out. So I had to ask for it and I got bad faces for asking for that. We payed 20 extra for breakfast everyday and It would be nice to get also more fruit choices. There were only apples. So much summer fruit but in the kloster only apple. I write you this so you can improve and get better like in the other hotels where we stayed, i dont write it for criticize. Thanks”
“This place is perfect, just perfect. Of all the various travels and places I have ever taken and stayed, this particular place holds the best impressions. In your path ever leads you to Swartzwald, make sure you choose this magical place for accommodation, it is sure to enhance your experience.”
“It is the age old Mother House of religous congregation of Sisters with school premises and Cemetery, of course now with Hotel and Hospitality.”
“The room was just perfect, a lovely calm setting, and everyone very friendly and helpful. We will certainly stay there again the next time we travel to the region.”
“That's a very special building - wonderful for a meditation retreat or a base for visiting Baden-Baden. Rooms are simple, bathroom shared, but price/value ratio is unmatched. I loved plentiful breakfast and splendid monastery gardens. It's possible to order in advance lunch and dinner. Please check their timing in advance. Staff is really welcoming.”
“Very good, quiet place, very good value. We liked the requirement to wear FFP2 mask, as Corona isn't over yet (June 2022). Too bad some guests, coughing & sneezing at the breakfast buffet, didn't bother to wear any. Which is no fault of any of the staff, of course. Room has no TV, which we like because we never watch it anyway. The self-service bar is nice, we enjoyed quiet evenings on the terrace outside and the quiet, restful ambience. Will probably be back some day.”
